Moroso

Moroso was born in 1952 from a project by Agostino Moroso who, together with his wife Diana, founded the company with the intention of producing and creating sofas, armchairs and furnishing accessories. Focusing on an artisanal approach in the creation of products and a strong creative impulse in the design phase, the roots of a vision are founded which has allowed the company to grow in the market, distinguishing itself for the quality, innovation and creativity of its products. In the 1980s, the second generation of the family began an in-depth research process in the field of authorial design.

Almost 70 years after its foundation, Moroso positions itself in the haute couture of international design and becomes a leading company in the upholstery sector.

Thanks to the creative contribution of designers such as Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola, Ross Lovegrove, Konstantin Grcic, Alfredo Häberli, Toshiyuki Kita, Marcel Wanders, Tokujin Yoshioka, Enrico Franzolini, Doshi & Levien, Tord Boontje, Nendo, Front and others, Moroso has created over the years a collection of iconic products, with a unitary imprint while safeguarding different latitudes and localisms. An international horizon that has allowed the company to enter the most beautiful places in the world including: the Moma in New York, the Palais de Tokyo and the Grand Palais in Paris, the Venice Biennale and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Important collaborations that allow the company to present itself with a vast and differentiated range of products, suitable for both the residential and contract sectors.
